            Bug ID: 507354
Summary: Lock screen wallpaper reverts to default on locking
                    screen
    Classification: Applications
           Product: systemsettings
      Version First 6.4.3
       Reported In:
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: kcm_screenlocker
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: new...@westnordost.de
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
The default lock screen image is displayed instead of the one defined in the
system settings at least when actively locking the screen with [Meta]+[L].

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set a custom lock screen image via system settings -> screen locking ->
Configure Appearance... -> Image ...
2. Observe that this image is correctly displayed after booting
3. Press [Meta]+[L]

OBSERVED RESULT
The default lock screen image is displayed. (In Fedora 42, KDE Plasma 6.4.3, it
is a light red background with blue plastic-looking hooks laid out next to each
other)

EXPECTED RESULT
The defined lock screen image is displayed.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: Fedora Linux 42
KDE Plasma Version: 6.4.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.16.0
Qt Version: 6.9.1
Kernel Version: 6.15.6-200.fc42.x86_64 (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
1. I set the priority to "normal" instead of "minor" because it effectively
makes the whole lock screen appearance setting moot. Feel free to change it if
you disagree about the severity.

2. When setting the wallpaper type to "Slideshow" and the "Change every"
setting to e.g. "30 seconds", then, after 30 seconds of displaying the default
image, it will begin to show the defined custom wallpaper.

3. Not sure if I selected the right component here.
