I observed this issue in 3 different Linux distributions over the last month
(Manjaro, KDE neon and Kubuntu 25 04).
I have two monitors, main (1080p) and second (4k tv that stays disabled and off
most of the time).
I noticed that when leave the screen configurations as default (both enabled),
the screen powers off after inactivity with no issues.
However, if i make any changes, such as moving the second screen to the left,
change its scale or even disabling it, the main monitor will fail to stay off
after inactivity.
