Hi Tracey,

Thanks for the input and explanations.

After being reproducible all day yesterday, the problem has gone away.  The
only thing that happened in the meantime was that the screensaver cut in
overnight.  I see a lot of plasmashell crashes overnight, and the automatic
restart may have removed the issue.

Let's close the ticket, and mark it "flaky user"!!
