I read the entire conversation. The conclusion is that KDE removed a "bug" that
everyone though easy to control and used making it a feature instead.

Once I worked in a place that had a defect in the product that a client relies
on. So that defect got promoted to feature. It's the same here. People are
asking you to keep the bug around because it's now a feature.

Leting people change SDR only is a bug and not predicted by specs? At this
point I would call it a feature even if outside spec. Let people use that. This
is what people are asking.
