Bug ID: 502626 Summary: visual artefacts on screen after screen turns back on Classification: Plasma Product: plasmashell Version: 6.3.4 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: vkr...@yahoo.com CC: k...@davidedmundson.co.uk Target Milestone: 1.0 I have configured my monitor's power settings to automatically turn off (go blank) after 5 minutes (System Settings->Power Management, Display and Brightness, Turn off screen: 5 min). After upgrading my openSUSE 15.6 desktop to Plasma 6.3.4 from OBS, there are visual artefacts on the screen after it comes back on - as a result of a key press or mouse move - after turning off after a period of inactivity. See attached screenshot - red arrows point to the "artrfacts". If I perform any action that causes some UI change, like resize a window or right-click to display context menu, etc - then the window with the artefacts gets repainted and they disappear. This has never happened prior to upgrade to Plasma 6.3.4 (from 6.3.3). Operating System: openSUSE Leap 15.6 KDE Plasma Version: 6.3.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.12.0 Qt Version: 6.9.0 Kernel Version: 6.4.0-150600.23.47-default (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 32 × AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core Processor Memory: 125.7 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti Manufacturer: ASUS -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
