When I close this application, the panel works as expected. I didn't know about the feature with the orange bar, so this was my fault, sorry for that. I'm still unsure why this application demands attention. Its a user space driver for my G13 gaming keyboard and is started via the Autostart feature, I'll look into that behavior later, for now this bug can be closed and marked as a layer 8 problem :).
