--- Comment #6 from Harald Weissmueller <rro...@gmail.com> --- This bug seems is still in 6.3.1. Is there a workaround for this? I tried setting environment variables KWIN_FORCE_SW_CURSOR=1 and KWIN_DRM_NO_AMS=1 and both didn't seem to work. I then ended up building kwin with these two commits reverted: https://invent.kde.org/plasma/kwin/-/commit/8291f8144b5a47c13fdf9da4af1a9d9623a3ce7c.patch https://invent.kde.org/plasma/kwin/-/commit/9f8b9afa504c2592e93a866ae23f08a6ca946272.patch And that seems to work without causing noticeable problems on my setup. Those commits mention Bug 498543. Reading through the description, it seems the problem there happened when changing the Night Light settings, but not while Night Light is in actual use? And moving the mouse around the screen would make the problem in the bug go instantly away? If this is the case, maybe reverting those commits for now and putting the Night Light problem back until the VRR mouse pointer problem can be fixed would be a good idea? This VRR mouse cursor problem here is bad, at least for me. I can't use Plasma 6.3 because of it (in the evening in games). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
