The one dimensional structure of unity does leave no power to the user wishes, you can take it or live it, like choosing between grey and grey. Very simple. The effort creating such a sophisticated system as kde4 and plasma5 is far more higher and demands far more work. I remember as kde4 took its baby steps, many people laughed about and criticised and left. KDE4 turned out to be the best along with time, as I held on to it because it still left me so much freedom... you are working on the best, most userfriendly desktop I know so far, and the results are promissing even now the old and matured and good xfce has not so much simplicity and beauty as plasma5 does, so keep on, dont let discourage yourself building it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
