Just as one data point, I ran this locally via ducker-ak, and it passed for me.
However, I can believe that the memory consumption might not be ideal. So if
you want to get your change into 3.9, I think that's reasonable.
However, I'm not sure if this is a blocker. Nothing changed here between 3.8
and 3.9, did it?
