For no obvious reason, one of my databases is suddenly very slow to
save. For example, most of my databases take only a second or two to
save, such as one with 650 items. However, one database of 1500 items
takes 34 seconds.

This does not seem right. My next biggest jabref database .bib file is
8.4 Mb and takes a second to save. The troublesome database is 25.6
Mb. While it is four times as large, it still should save it in 2-3
seconds.

Is there any obvious reason for such a long save time? Is there a
troubleshooting procedure to debug a particular database?
