Oh, and the "Maven 3" part of the pom.xml only is there to show that with Maven 
3 and the maven-site-plugin:3.0 the problem is the same (even though only 
versions 2.7 and 2.8 of maven-javadoc-plugin run sucessfully under Maven 3 + 
maven-site-plugin 3.0).
