I hit this problem at work with a corporate parent pom I can't change. Attached
in MECLIPSE-681.zip is a self contained reproduction of the bug. Complete with
a parent pom and failing .project and .classpath
For anyone hitting this, know that using projectNameTemplate allows you to work
around the problem.
