Installing a plug-in project locally does not update the "latestVersion" value
in the maven-metadata-local.xml file for the artifact. The version gets added
to the <versions> list, but the latestVersion remains the version that was last
resolved from a remote repository. Bentmann confirmed this on IRC. An example
file can be found at
