mvn eclipse:eclipse should be able to generate a different variable name than M2_REPO -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: MECLIPSE-471 URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MECLIPSE-471 Project: Maven 2.x Eclipse Plugin Issue Type: Improvement Components: Core : Multi-projects Affects Versions: 2.5.1 Environment: doesn't matter Reporter: Thomas Arand For some reasons I have to add two projects to the same eclipse instance which use different local maven repositories. Using mvn eclipse:eclipse for both of them leads to a conflict as the generated .classpath files use the same variable M2_REPO to refer to the local repository. Currently I have to manually replace this name by a different one for one of these projects every time I have to re-execute mvn eclipse:eclipse. This is especially very error-prone (as it can easily be forgotten). Therefore I would like to have a possibility to tell the plugin to generate a different variable name. This could be by passing a property to the mvn call, or to configure the plugin in the pom-file. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://jira.codehaus.org/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira
