I cross-checked the branch list against the current repo state and the current PR states — the table in the description is partly stale now. Updated status: **Already deleted since this issue was opened** (8): `logger-levels-config` (#600 closed), `resolver-locking-mode` (#762 closed), `markdown` (#2221 closed), `feature/generate-plugin-descriptor-bean-and-reader-from-model` (#862 closed), `feature/ gh-11074-recursive-project-url-it` (#11075 closed), `close` (#2219 closed), `prefix` (#10971 merged), `MNG-7532` (#793 merged). **Deleted now** (4) — PR resolved or work already merged, branch left behind: - `MNG-6960-3.8.x` — tip already merged into `maven-3.9.x` - `feature/plugin-descriptor-with-extensions` — #833 closed - `MNG-7758_workaround` — #1095 closed - `protect` — #1035 closed **Kept — PR still open** (4): `mdo` (#2023), `jenkinsfile-mimir` (#2208), `release-scripts` (#2473), `11582` (#11583). Fine to delete outright. 2. *2024–2025 commits, unmerged* — `refactor/getVersionConstraint`, `branch-maven-4.0.0-rc-2`, `qube`, `order`, `more`, `local`, `mvnup`, `map`, `feature/optimize-composite-bean-helper-performance` — suggest a one-time "speak now" note before deleting, since these hold unmerged work that is still plausibly retrievable by the author.
