This can be closed as fixed in Maven Shade Plugin 3.4.0 by #150 (MSHADE-425). The attached reproducer's two consecutive `mvn package` runs succeed with 3.4.0 and current master; version 3.4.1 additionally deduplicates service-provider lines via #159 (MSHADE-432). -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
