Isn't the current issue a duplicate of https://github.com/apache/maven/issues/8030 ? Although the original issue didn't have any direct PRs, it created equivalents outside of `pom.xml` through https://github.com/maveniverse/mason, such as `pom.yaml`, `pom.json`, `pom.conf`, `pom.hocon`, and `pom.toml`. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
