This is IMHO a useful class we should make more use of if we don't currently.
OTOH, it has some weird problems due to dual super-interfaces. Ideally I'd like
to keep it and use it more than we do, but get rid of the inheritance from
org.codehaus.plexus.logging.Logger. If it really isn't used anywhere anymore
maybe we can do that.
