Am with Michael here, but few things more: I am really unsure what this project
(arquillian and shrinkwrap) is trying to solve or do, and especially given it's
abandoned, I'd just move off from it, as it's codebase is huge, and as we saw,
fragile as well. I don't see that "fork and fix" will be easy thing to do :(
In your place, I'd go for short term solution (the simpler the better), and for
long term i'd move off from all this thing (but again, am saying this without
any knowledge about it, how easy would be to move off from it, etc).
