@all: Would be great to have a public list of all the "unspoken design targets" like "getting rid of properties that affect build result". Can you please set this up and link here, so contributors know *upfront* what existing patterns they shall not further copy? Having said that, it would be nice to cast your vetos rather soon after someone filed a *JIRA*, not waiting him to actually invest time into code that will be rejected, as it happened here.
