True. Except my use case requires the plain JAR or the shaded JAR depending on a condition. Skipping jar altogether would be bad. In other words, this is not to stop shading altogether but to have a choice to stop it when needed, even when the parent pom (or a custom lifecycle which is exactly the case mentioned in the JIRA ticket) activates shade by default. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
