This is really a good feature. You have saved our time. We did not ignore it but we had to change our priority and released API 3.0 and stability issues asap which was last time done between versions `3.0.0-M1` and `3.0.0-M4`. I would ask you to rebase and squash the commits after `SUREFIRE-1534` has been closed as fixed again but I do not expect conflicts in `AbstractSurefireMojo`. Did you run unit and integration tests successfully?
