Does not remember dependencies' Javadocs in Eclipse Build Path

When I add a dependency using Maven, the m2eclipse plugin automatically adds
the JAR to the project's Build Path. In the Build Path, I can point Eclipse to
this dependency's Javadocs, but when I close Eclipse, the path to the Javadocs
is lost.
It has been suggested that I use "Download artifact javadoc", but it's not the
same thing, see the relevant thread here
