         Key: MNGECLIPSE-135
         URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/MNGECLIPSE-135
Project: Maven 2.x Extension for Eclipse
        Type: Improvement

    Versions: 0.0.9
 Environment: Maven (2.0.4)
m2eclipse 0.0.9
Eclipse 3.1.2

    Priority: Minor

Have an internal Maven repository that I use https to connect to.
I have multi-module Maven project and hence a project in Eclipse for each
module - with dependencies between them.

When I start up Eclipse I am kindly asked for the username and password. But,
not once. It is requested for each project even do the site ("Connect to") is
the same for all projects.

It would be nice if the m2eclipse plugin could somewhat remember this without
the need for me to reenter it for each project. Perhaps even an option to
"Remember this login information.".

I originally filed this enhancement request towards Eclipse Platform
(https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=145999) as I thought it was
included in the platform, but according to the Eclipse guys this is a Maven
issue.
