While trying to figure out how the AbstractCompilerMojo worked, I found the
@component tag for the compilerManager field. There is a reference page for
the mojo-api-spec, but this page doesn't talk about the "component" tag. That
page seems like a logical place to put this documentation, or at least a
reference to it if it is already somewhere else.
