### Description IndexSortSortedNumericDocValuesRangeQuery currently only supports Int/Long fields because the docValue encoding for floats and doubles is different between single valued and multi valued fields. Normally this would be a problem, however we know both the data type (int, float, double, long) as well as the docValues type (Numeric or Sorted Numeric), so we know exactly what encoding to expect where. With this in mind, IndexSortSortedNumericDocValuesRangeQuery should support floats and doubles. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
