   Generally I don't like adding new public classes that do stuff differently 
with implementation details in their name. The end user should only see 
"TermsQuery". Isn't it possible to figure out before execution in the rewrite / 
weight creation phase which approach works better (e.g., by looking at index 
statistics?).
   
   In that case the implementation used should be hidden to end user and the 
query should choose the implementation working best for the term statistics.
