@dsmiley Thanks for clarifying the backport status. It would be great to have this backported to 10.x. This is my first time contributing to Lucene, and I didn’t see the information about needing to add it to the changelog first in the [CONTRIBUTING.md](https://github.com/apache/lucene/blob/main/CONTRIBUTING.md) guide. Is there still a chance to backport it? Let me know if I can help in any way!
