What is the problem with allowing the use to pass an Executor? Lucene should not do anything "aitomagically". If somebody uses NIOFSDir, they can pass virtual threads. Anybody calling Lucene should always have some thread pools laying around, so only use an externally provided thread pool. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
