Hi @s1monw, Hope you are doing well! I was digging into the reasoning behind Lucene's move from PFOR to FOR in the postings format. From your comment in the discussion, it seems like this change might have introduced a regression rather than an improvement in certain cases. Was there any consideration given to reverting this change or perhaps adapting `Lucene99PostingsFormat` to use PFOR instead? Or is this behavior more use-case dependent, where FOR performs better under specific conditions?
