I haven't been able to cause practical issues by allowing maxMergeAtOnce > segsPerTier, but it creates some new situations that I didn't feel comfortable with, so for now I have only allowed more than segsPerTier segments for merges below the floor segment size. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
