Sorry, I don't feel good about relying on `paddingBitsNeeded` on the read path. I suggest we close this PR, IMO the better fix would be to change the way we store terms dictionaries to rely less on `DirectMonotonicReader`. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
