After playing some more with it, I'd say the problem is in The Fine Manual. The only clear concise explanation of what the suggester actually does that my google-fu managed to turn up, is Alessandro's blog post: https://sease.io/2015/07/solr-autocomplete-you-complete-me.html You can't get it to work by simply following Solr manual. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
