Thanks, I compared the 9.x and main branch smoke tester. The files are
identical with some minor differences:
- The 9.x checks for `CONTRIBUTING.md` to be available in root folder, main
does not do this. We should possibly fix this.
- The 9.x passes the badapples exclusion, but this is wanted, due to
LUCENE-10253
So the only change to make both scripts consistent would be to fix this line:
```
expected_src_root_files = ['build.gradle', 'buildSrc',
'CONTRIBUTING.md', 'dev-docs', 'dev-tools', 'gradle', 'gradlew',
'gradlew.bat', 'help', 'lucene',
'settings.gradle', 'versions.lock', 'versions.props']
```
