Having many deleted documents competitive is definitely a worst-case scenario for any kind of dynamic pruning that Lucene does. I'm not sure if there is something that we can do about it, because we generally have no way to know whether deletes are correlated with competitiveness or not. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
