@PenghaiZhang sorry about all this. Given how ancient these Lucene versions are, few people even remember the specifics of how to do this migration. Maybe you could jot some notes down on your process and post them here, as a starting point to add to `MIGRATE.md`. One clear problem with `MIGRATE.md` is it's released per-version, so even if we could fix the migration to 5.0, we would not make a new 5.x point release just to add that. Perhaps `MIGRATE.md` should live in our wiki somewhere so we could more iteratively update it when users find glaring gaps long after a release? -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
