Thank you for this info. IMO the fact that characters in use are still inconsistent is a good argument for normalization. This is the approach that I attempted with the pull request to snowball. A quick test of `site:ro` query from google, + sampling each result shows a lot more inconsistency. It still leans towards the s-comma/t-comma, though.
