One other possibility would be to hand-roll the expression lexer/parser. This would get rid of the need for any additional dependencies and generated code. From what I can tell the API has been stable for a long time, so I don't think there would be a problem with maintenance. This would have the added benefit of likely improved performance as ANTLR isn't the fastest, and potentially better error messages. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
