also wanna note my concern around any use of mlock, that, users may not know how to do the right thing and be lazy and just run as root. this is sadly the stuff that users do, i'd hate to encourage it. so to me it seems like the heap is more user-friendly way to get the performance that you want. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
