Yes I have considered backporting, but didn't do it because of the potential large amount of missing enums that need to be added for solr as well like Tomoko already pointed out, but also since I feel this PR is more for lint-ing enforcement for future development (against `main` branch), and it doesn't change lucene performance and features in anyway.
