I'm not really suggesting anything but I think it could be doable. The build
part is, for the most part, really similar... the dependencies would have to be
updated, etc., but once the core of the build is working on master, 8x should
be portable as well. Maybe it would be easier than maintaining the combined ant
repo? Don't know just thinking out loud.
