This would also explain slowdowns on *short* posting-list iterations, as
readLELongs() with smaller number of longs is not working well.
My plan would be to do an if statement at beginning of readBytes() or
readLELongs() like:
```
if (length < SOME_LIMIT) {
for (int i = offset; i< offset + length; i++) {
bytes[i] = readByte();
}
} else {
... current code...
}
```
