The problem is when makeing job config, I dont know on which node it will run. 
So my idea is to let gradle do it on its own. See my comment above for the 
{{gradlew localSettings}} task.

Another idea is to just let jenkins execute a shell script that writes a 
gradle.properties with test.jvms and workers = number of cpus
