First milestone to shoot for, *milestone one*, make the current thing work. I
am not a software developer. I don't plan, I don't design, I don't care about
solutions other than that they work. So in this stage, I just fix what's there.
I don't care if it's silly, heavy, annoying, obscure. Fix what's there, let the
software decide how it should be done. I don't pull out HDFS, I don't remove
auto scaling, I don't punt DiH, I don't remove legacyCloud. With one exception.
I only support collectionStateFormat=2.
*Milestone two* allows for for further development, larger changes, new
approaches.
