Check out Apache Pulsar's geo-replication capabilities as a replacement for
CDCR: [https://pulsar.apache.org/docs/en/administration-geo/]. It just works
and scales easily. Pulsar is also a nice architectural fit with SolrCloud b/c
it uses ZK
