Robert Muir commented on LUCENE-9235: ------------------------------------- Thats a good idea, worst-case the python code can check and just fail hard if needed on old pythons. [~mikemccand] has an idea of a sort() or something we can sprinkle into the code that may give us a deterministic order. I meant to compile an old python and try it out last night, but fell asleep. > upgrade all python to python3 > ----------------------------- > > Key: LUCENE-9235 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LUCENE-9235 > Project: Lucene - Core > Issue Type: Improvement > Reporter: Robert Muir > Priority: Major > Attachments: LUCENE-9235.patch > > > Lets just kill the python2 and simplify the build. Since its only being used > for regenerating sources, ideally its easy to validate. -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.3.4#803005) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: issues-unsubscr...@lucene.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: issues-h...@lucene.apache.org
