Would it be possible to also do a link check and figure out if we can switch a
href links to HTTPS? Just trigger the link and then check if a 301-redirect is
sent by the target webserver?
We have many links in our web page to sites, that already have switched to
HTTPS, and we should really update our links to them. I am planning to enforce
HTTPS for Lucene's website soon (once the problem with LucidWorks search is
fixed, see LUCENE-9227), so I'd also like to review all external links.
If we have images and scripts still using HTTP, it would also be good to know!
ASAP to make LUCENE-9227 possible. I did a quick grep, but maybe I missed some
of those. Where possible I changed all CSS/JS to use schema-less URL
({{//foo.bar/file.js}}). On example I fixed was the Google Fonts on Solr being
hardcoded to HTTP (and this caused the fonts on Solr's page be showing
incorrect with https).
