Erick Erickson commented on SOLR-13974:
---------------------------------------

There's no hurry here, Solr 8.5 won't be released for, probably, 2-3 months
(that's a guess). This is mostly to insure that the Jetty issue you pointed out
really addresses the problem since I don't have a good way to test.

Regardless, this upgrade is almost certainly here to stay. That said, there may
be a few issues that shake out over the next little bit, there's another Solr
Jira for an SSL related issue that just came over the transom. So please also
report any anomalies you find.

> I am unable to say when exactly does that happen and when not, it happens to

> When this does happen, import is stuck, nothing happens past that error.

> Long story short, there in thread there is a suggestion that this was fixed
> in Jetty 9.4.22 (solr 8.3 has 9.4.19).
>
> For next release, could jetty be updated to 9.4.22 or later, please?
