For folks watching this issue who have noted the problem still seems to exist
in recent versions of Solr, I have confirmed that and posted steps to reproduce
in a new jira: SOLR-13872
(since SOLR-11616 is already marked as "Fixed" in the CHANGES of a past
release, we use a new jira for tracking problems that continue/regress in solr
versions after that)
