Flink range distribution serializes truncated binary sort keys using the full backing array. A key truncated to `[0, 1]` decodes as `[0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]`, so incoming keys no longer match learned assignments and fall back to round robin. Serialize only the buffer's remaining bytes using the existing utility. Serializer round-trip coverage now includes binary truncation in Flink 1.20, 2.2, and 2.3. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
